Amsterdam's Ajax Stadium

Ajax is undoubtedly one of the most famous football club sides in the world and without question the biggest club in the Netherlands by a country mile.

Whilst you may not be a football fan yourself, a tour of their magnificent ground (the Amsterdam Arena) is a fascinating way to spend half a day in the city and can be combined with other attractions nearby such as the Heineken Museum (sounds like one for the boys this!).

You don't need to book to take a tour, however, reservations for the World of Ajax Tours can be made on 020 311 1336 (from within the Netherlands). The World of Ajax Tours depart from Main entrance E at the stadium.

There are 5 tours a day between April 1st and June 30th - these are 11.00, 12.15, 13.30, 14.45 and 16.30.
